’Adret
de Cornillac consists of different buildings set in 50 acres
of wild ground : the “Old House”, the Group-Room,
and 3 cottages on the slope 60 meters above the “Old
House”: The “Cherry-House”, The
“Lavender-House”, The “Falcon’s Nest”.
The 3 upper cottages :
They are located 60 meters above the “Old House”
and stand about 10 meters apart from one another. Each one
has a big grass-terrace with spectacular view on the valley
and the mountains. Almost every room has a door directly to
the outside. They are surrounded by “wild” nature:
lavender, juniper, thyme, pine trees, little meadows but also
some very steep slopes down to small stony dry creeks. The
whole slope belongs to the property.
The little mountain road stops 100 meters below the Old House
at the crossroad where our mail box stands. From there one
drives on a nice dirt-road. Because the appealing beauty of
the unique location, the splendid view, the silence and the
feeling to be in the midst of untouched nature are such an
important part of the special atmosphere at L’Adret
we ask our guests to park their cars near the mailbox (except
on days of arrival and departure). We purposely left the driveway
to the cottages completely rustic.
All beds whose dimensions are not expressly mentioned are
90 centimetres wide and can be put together as king-size beds
or apart as twin. We provide all bed linen. Each cottage has
its terrace with lawn chairs and table, hammock-chairs and
sunshade umbrella. There is a washing machine for the use
of the 3 cottages in a little separate building which also
includes a toilet and a wash-basin.
All houses are non-smoking houses.
Dogs by arrangement only.
